Chris: I feel like I’ve really found the one for me

Dear Asianbeauties,

Before anything else, lend me this opportunity to thank you and your staff. If not for you, I wouldn’t have found the most understanding and kind person I’ve ever known. And now, we’re going to get married in a few months. Yay! I’ll think of you as one of the pillars that helped changed my life forever.

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Estela from Cebu, Philippines. He is a businessman from New Zealand. At first, I was afraid that he would not like me because my English is not that great. In short, I’m having a hard time communicating what’s on my mind. But, he was so ever understanding and sweet on his emails. He even said that he will find a way to communicate with my family even if they don’t understand him that much. Isn’t that how a perfect gentleman should be? I was just so glad that he would share with me things about his country, his family, and his own interests. 

Then came a time when he decided to come down and visit me. Of course, I was having a hard time believing that he would do such things – or go to such lengths just to see me. I feel flattered. We hang out for the entire time that he was here. It was all fun and laughter being with him. I feel like I’ve really found the one for me. And I’m glad that he feels the same way with me. 

Now, it’s my turn to come to his country and get to know him there. I am now working on my papers so that I can finally spend some time with him and his family. And after this vacation, we’re going to work on the wedding details. I’m so excited. 

I can now say that fairy tales do come true. They just come in different packages – in this case, my handsome and winsome future husband. And fairy godmothers come in different sizes and shapes too – and you’re my fairy godmother! Thank you.
